Pen-Type Infrared Thermometer

1. Introduction
This digital infrared thermometer can provide fast, easy and accurate
temperature readings in automotive, heating, air conditioning, cooking
and food service applications, etc.

4. Operating Steps
4.1: Aim the thermometer at the target.
4.2: Press and hold the “PRESS” button to display the surface
temperature. The “SCAN” icon will appear on the LCD while
measuring.
4.3: Release the “PRESS” button and the “HOLD” icon will appear on the
LCD to indicate the current reading has been frozen.
4.4: The meter will automatically shut down after 15 seconds of inactivity.
Measurement note:
If the meter is to be used in a new environment with a relatively wide
change in ambient temperature, please allow at least 30 minutes for the
meter to adjust.
5. Battery replacement
5.1: When the low battery icon appears, replace the meters batteries with
two new LR44 1.5V button cell batteries.
5.2: Loosen the screw on the pen clip, remove the pen clip and deco ring,
then open the back cover to replace the old batteries.
