Server name: Enter the server name
Server email address: Enter the email address of the sender
Server address: Enter the domain name or IP address of the email server
User name: Enter the user name of the email account if necessary
Password: Enter the password of the email account if necessary
Server port: The default mail server port is set to 25. User can also manually set another
port
Security Mode : Select security mode SSL or TLS, the default setting is none. If your
SMTP server requires a secure connection (SSL), check this server if provide the secure
connection (SSL) function.

Media Setting
Click Media on the Event Settings page to open the Media Settings page. On this page, you can
specify the type of media that will be sent when a trigger is activated. A total of 5 media settings
can be configured.
There are two choices of media types available: Snapshot & Video Clip. Select the item to
display the detailed configuration options. You can configure either one or all of them
Name: Enter a Media name.
Source: The video source, select the desired channel to record. Video Server used main
stream of channel as the recording source.
Pre-event Recording : The Video Server has a buffer area; it temporarily holds data up to a
certain limit. Enter a number to decide the duration of recording before a trigger is activated.
Up to 9 seconds of video can be recorded.
Post-event Recording : Images can be stored internally on the server from the time
immediately following the trigger. Enter the desired length of time, range from 5~60
seconds.
