OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Only connect the appliance to a correctly socket outlet with 220-240V~, 50/60Hz main power supply.
2. Turn the selector switch clockwise to set the toasting level from the lightest stage 1 to the darkest stage 7. If
in any doubt, start with the lower setting (the black mark on the selector switch indicates ).
3. Insert sliced bread into the toasting slot and push down the lever until it locks. One slice per slot.
4. Once toasting has finished, the toasting slots will pop up. The appliance switches off immediately once the
set degree of toasting has been reached. The toast then pops up automatically. The appliance will
automatically switch off.
5. Please allow the toaster to cool down before you put it away.
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
If you wish to use the special functions, press the button you wish to select once you have pushed down the
lever. The corresponding control lamp will illuminate displaying its function.
Defrost function
: To defrost and toast deep-frozen bread, place the bread into the toasting slot and select the
desired Browning Setting. Press the control lever down until it clicks into place .Then press the Defrost Button.
Reheat function
: To reheat, place toast into bread slots, lower the control lever until it click into between place
and then press the Reheat Button.
Cancel function
: To stop toasting any time , press the Cancel Button.
Bagel function
: Cut the bagel in half and place the bagel into the bread slot.Face the opened surface of the
bagel towards the outside. Select the desired Browning Setting. Press the control lever down until it clicks into
place ,then press the Bagel Button. While operate with Bagel function, middle part of the heating element will
not operate.
Lift up function:
To remove smaller items such as crumpets and muffins, lift carriage control lever
approximately 10mm above the starting position
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
- Use a moderately damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.
- Do not use any aggressive or scrubbing detergents.
- Grasp the crumb shaft by the loop and pull it out, remove the bread residue and push the shaft back in.
