Checks if the sensor is currently able to provide an up-to-date measure.

Returns false if the device is unreachable, or if the sensor does not have a current measure to transmit.
No exception is raised if there is an error while trying to contact the device hosting $THEFUNCTION$.

Returns :

true

 if the sensor can provide an up-to-date measure, and
