Troubleshooting
Determining the problem
Symptoms Reason Suggestions
The water inside
the machine does
not drain or drains
slowly.
There may be excessive suds (commonly
due to excessive detergent use).
The drain pipe is blocked.
The Air Pressure Cap is closed.
Too much water remains inside the
machine.
Use less detergent for future loads.
Clean the drainage pipe. See page 21.
Open the Air Pressure Cap.
Open the drain plug during the spin-dry cycle when a floor
drain is available.
There is detergent
residue on the
laundry.
Too much detergent is used.
Too little water is used.
Adjust your water and detergent usage based on the amount
and type of laundry. Do not exceed the recommended
amount of detergent and laundry.
The Drum does not
rotate smoothly when
using the machine.
The drum screws are loose.
The drum axle is jammed due to dirt build-up.
Tighten all 4 drum screws.
Check and clean both drum axles.
The laundry is not
dry enough.
Not enough speed is achieved. Operate the machine on a non-slippery, even surface. Pedal
faster when possible.
There is too much laundry in the machine.
