Installation
The following steps should be followed carefully in order to guarantee proper
operation of the phone.
Step1: Check the components as per the packing list.
Step2: Placing the Phone
•
Place the phone on a stable flat and secure surface (Table, Desk
etc). Do not place the phone near heaters or radiators. Avoid direct
exposure to sunlight or wet and damp areas.
•
Read the Do’s and Don’ts at the beginning of the user guide.
Step 3: Connecting the components
•
Position the antenna upright.
•
Connect coiled cord to handset jack on one side and the base instrument
jack (located on the left) on the other side
•
Open the battery case, connect the battery cord and place the battery
pack and close the case.
•
Connect the Adapter to the DC Input port located at the back of the
phone. Connect the AC cord to the power adapter on one side and the
Three Pin AC socket on the other side. Switch on the AC Power Supply.
The indicator green light on the power adapter should light up.
Please observe the following for a better reception
•
Keep the indoor antenna upright to get the best RSSI.
•
Keep phone where it is not obstructed
•
Keep away from electrical appliances such as TV, Computer, Radio etc.
