Replace the cutting unit if it is damaged or worn. Only replace the cutting unit with an original
Yimaler cutting unit.

Pull the comb off the appliance,Push the middle part of the cutting unit upwards with your

thumb until it opens,And then pull it off the appliance.(Fig. 11 15)

Place the lug of the new cutting unit in the slot and push the cutting unit onto the appliance

(‘click’).(Fig. 19)

Environment

- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but

hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve
the environment.(Fig. 20)

The built-in rechargeable batteries contain substances that may pollute the environment.Always

remove the batteries before you discard and hand in the appliance at an official collection point.
Dispose of the batteries at an official collection point for batteries. If you have trouble
removing the batteries, you can also take the appliance to a Yimaler service centre. The staff
ofthis centre will remove the batteries for you andwill dispose of them in an environmentally
safe way.(Fig. 21)

-Removing the rechargeable batteries

Only remove the rechargeable batteries when you discard the appliance.Make sure the batteries
are completely empty when you remove them.
Do not connect the appliance to the mains again after you have removed the rechargeable batteries.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let the appliance run until the motor stops.

Remove the hair clipping comb and the cutting unit.

Remove the 2 screws at the appliance with a screwdriver.(Fig. 22)

Pull the back panel off the appliance.(Fig. 23)

Remove the 6 screws on the inside of the appliance with a screwdriver.(Fig. 24)

Separate the power unit from the front panel. (Fig. 25)

Cut the wires close to the batteries and then remove the batteries.
