MIDI SETUP
If you want to control hush via USB-MIDI or EXT-MIDI, you will find various configuration options in
the hush App. To access them, select the tab MIDI SETUP. There you can add your own profiles or
select one of the stored MIDI profiles, e.g. the HUI protocol.
A hush App MIDI preset is a file with the extension .ymp.
In a MIDI setup, the 6 states Red(On/Off) , White(On/Off), Mute(On/Off) are assigned individual MIDI
events. Three predefined MIDI presets are included, the presets can be copied and edited as nee-
ded to customize the control of the hush(+).
The predefined presets are
• MIDI Notes
• HUI
• Mackie Control
The factory default is the MIDI Notes preset.
The usage of the MIDI presets varies, a possible assignment is:
• External MIDI device: MODE = MIDI, PRESET = MIDI Notes
• DAW software with HUI support: MODE = USB MIDI, PRESET = HUI
• DAW software with MCU support: MODE = USB MIDI, PRESET = Mackie Control
