You can specify which type of conference to establish.
The following table lists the parameter you can use to set a conference type.

Description It configures the conference type for a specific account.

Values
0 -Local Conference, the conference is set up with the other two parties via the IP phone.
2 -Network Conference, the conference is set up with multiple parties via the server.

X is the account ID. For T58V/T58A/T56A, X=1-16; for CP960, X=1.
Local Conference Configuration
The local conference requires a host phone to process the audio of all parties. Yealink phones support up to 5 parties
(including yourself) in a local conference call.
For T58V/A phones, you can create up to five-way audio-only and video mixed conference including a maximum of
three-way video calls. The following figure shows what the touch screen looks like in a mixed conference call with
three-way video calls and two-way audio-only calls.
For CP960 phones, you can set up a conference among the calls on your IP phone, the PC and connected mobile
phone.
For a local three-way conference, if the conference initiator leaves the conference, all parties are disconnected and the
conference call ends. You can enable Transfer on Conference Hang Up feature, and allows the other two parties to
remain connected when the conference initiator drops the conference call.
The following table lists the parameters you can use to configure local conference.

Description
It enables or disables the phone to set up a three-way conference directly after the second party answers
the call.
Note : It is not applicable to CP960 phones.

Values
0 -Disabled, the first call is placed on hold. The user needs to tap the Conference soft key again to set up a
conference after the second party answers the call.
1 -Enabled. The second party joins a conference with the first party after answering the call, both phones
play a warning tone.
