SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR MIXERS
Hold the tool with both hands on the handles provided
. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
When mixing
fl
ammable materials, ensure adequate ventilation to avoid dangerous atmospheres.
The vapours generated
can be inhaled or ignited by the sparks produced by the power tool.
Don’t mix food.
Power tools and their accessories are not intended for food processing.
Keep the cable away from the work area
. The cable may get tangled up in the mixer basket.
Make sure that the mixing container is placed in a stable and safe position.
If the container is not secured properly, it may
move unexpectedly.
Make sure that no liquid splashes onto the power tool housing.
Liquid that has entered the power tool can cause damage
and lead to electric shock.
Follow the instructions and warnings related to the mixed material.
Mixed material can be harmful.
If the power tool gets caught in mixed material, immediately disconnect the power tool from the mains and have it
checked by a quali
fi
ed service technician
. Reaching the bucket while the tool is still attached can lead to electric shock.
Do not reach into the mixing container with your hands or put any other objects into it while mixing
. Contact with the mixer
basket can lead to serious injury.
Start and lower the tool only into the mixing container.
The mixer basket can bend or rotate in an uncontrolled way.
PRODUCT OPERATION
Product assembly
Caution! All preparatory work must be carried out with the product disconnected from the power supply. The battery must be
removed from the machine’s socket.
The mixer does not require assembly, only the mixer and the battery need to be installed.
It is possible to use the agitator delivered with the product or mount another agitator, but please remember that the thread size and
diameter of the agitator basket should be the same as speci
fi
ed in the technical data table.
The agitator supplied with the product has a removable spindle, which must be screwed into the basket, and the connection
fi
rmly
and reliably tightened with the keys (II).
Then screw the assembled agitator into the spindle of the tool and tighten it
fi
rmly and securely with the wrenches (III).
Rotational Speed Control
Set the spindle speed using the adjuster. The bigger the number visible on the knob, the higher the spindle speed. The regulation
of the revolutions is smooth and only the setting of the maximum revolutions is additionally signalled by the sound of a ratchet
mechanism.
Starting and stopping the mixer
Grasp the mixer with the mounted agitator with both hands on the handles, make sure that the agitator does not come into contact
with any object. Press and hold the switch lock button with your thumb, then press and hold with your index
fi
nger the switch button
(IV). After starting the spindle rotation, it is not necessary to hold the lock button any longer. The switch lock prevents unintentional
switching on of the spindle rotation.
Wait until the maximum speed set by the knob is reached.
The spindle speed is stopped when the pressure on the switch is released. Wait until the spindle revolutions stop completely,
remove the battery and start maintenance.
Safety recommendations for battery loading
Attention!
Before loading may start make sure the body of the charger, the cable and the plug are not broken or damaged. It
is prohibited to use a damaged loading dock and charger! For the purpose of loading batteries only the charging dock and the
charger provided may be used. Using another charger may be a cause of
fi
re or damage the tool. Batteries may be charged only
in a dry room, protected from unauthorised persons, particularly children. Do not use the charging dock and the charger without
permanent supervision of an adult! If it is necessary to leave the room where loading is taking place, it is required to disconnect the
charger from the mains, removing the charger from the mains socket. In case when smoke comes out of the charger, or a strange
smell is emitted, etc., it is required to immediately remove the plug of the charger from the mains socket! The drill and automatic
return screwdriver is provided with an unloaded battery, so before work may commence, it is required to charge it following the
procedure below, using the charger and charging dock provided. Li-ION batteries do not show the so called “memory e
ff
ect”, so
it is allowed to charge them at any moment. However, it is recommended to discharge them during normal work, and then load
them to their full capacity. If due to the nature of the task it is not possible to do so each time, then it is required to do it at least
from time to time. Under no circumstances is it allowed to discharge the batteries short-circuiting the electrodes, since this would
cause irreversible damage! It is also prohibited to check the load of the batteries, short-circuiting the electrodes for sparking.
