Adjustment of Timing Belts

L-axis

Refer to 

Fig. 8-1 “Disassembly & Reassembly of L- and U-Axis Timing 

Belts”

.  Loosen the GT-SA bolts

 and adjust the initial tension to be the 

specific initial tension as shown in 

Table 8-4 “Initial Tension of Timing Belt”

   

with the tension meter.  Then tighten them with the specified tightening 
torque.

U-axis
