GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean
cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
Stop the motor and unplug the edger whenever you are not using the tool. Unplug the
edger and allow sufficient time for the blade to stop rotating before before unclogging the
blade guard or when making a repair, adjustment, inspection, etc.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight.
You can make the adjustments and repairs described here on a regular basis. For other
repairs, have the product serviced by an authorized service dealer.
