6. To replace the line only
Take a line of approximately 16’ (5 m).
Insert the centre point of line into the notch in the middle section of the spool and wind the line in
a clockwise direction (see Fig. K1).
Care should be taken to ensure that the line is neatly coiled on the spool. Failure to do so will
impair the efficiency of the automatic bump line feed (see. Fig. K2).
Then fit spool as described in “To replace the spool and line” on page 16.
Warning! Your trimmer is designed to use only line with a
maximum diameter of 0.080” (.20 cm).
Always remove the battery pack from your trimmer after use.
