1. Care must be taken to prevent rust on the surfaces. Cover all equipment with a
light coat of oil and use an oil-soaked cloth for cleaning all equipment. Then
cover the chipper with a big plastic bag to prevent the environmental conditions
from harming the equipment on the long run.
2. Follow the off-season storage recommendations for the engine.
3. Store equipment in a clean, dry area. Never store the machine or fuel container
where there is an enclosed space, fire presence, spark or pilot light such as water
heaters, furnaces, clothes dryers, etc.

Performance
1. Blade edge is dull
2. Separation between anvil and
blade is not the best.
3. Incorrect chipper RPM
4. Incorrect belt tension/ worn
belt.
5. Worn clutch
1. Resharpen or replace the
blade.
2. You may adjust to
standard separation to
0.137-inches.
3. The chipper should run at
full engine speed.
4. Adjust tension, if the belt
is showing signs of wear,
replace.
5. Replace clutch.
