WARNING
!
Blades are sharp, always wear protective gloves when cleaning and
maintenance of the mower
Cleaning
1. Remove the grass from the grass collection catcher after mowing.
2. Use a brush and plastic scraper (if required) to remove the grass on the mower.
3. Wipe the mower with a damp cloth to remove the dirt.
4. Never use water or high pressure water jet to clean the mower.
Maintenance
1. Keep all nuts and bolts tight to ensure the mower is in a safe working condition.
2. Replace worn or damage parts if necessary.
3. Be careful during adjustments of the mower to prevent entrapment of the fingers
between the moving blade and the mower.
Adjusting the lower cutting blade to the blades (Fig. 10)
The lower cutting blade (18) should be as close to the blades (17) as possible,
when the blades (17) are rotated manually, they should make slight contact with
the lower cutting blade.
If the contact between the blades (17) and lower cutting blade (18) is too loose,
the cutting is rough and uneven.
If the contact between the blades (17) and lower cutting blade (18) is too tight, the
mower will be difficult to push and noisy.
The lower cutting blade (18) is pre-set at the factory. However, it may need to be
adjusted after using for a period of time.
Turn the adjustment nuts (16) on both sides clockwise to move the lower cutting
blade (18) towards the blades (17).
Turn the adjustment nuts (16) on both sides anti-clockwise to move the lower
cutting blade (18) away from the blades (17).
