(1) Loosen the screws ④⑤. (Fig. 6-27)
(2) When the looper tip meets the center of the right nee

dle, push the right needle with the needle guard (rear)

and adjust the clearance between the looper and the
right needle to 0 to 0.05 mm. At the same time, adjust
the clearance between the needle guard (rear)

the left needle to 0 to 0.05 mm. (Fig. 6-26)

Height of the needle guard (rear) (standard)
When the needle bar is at the lowest point, align the line
② of the needle guard (rear) ① with the center of the
needle eye of the right needle ③. (Fig. 6-24)
For VE2711-1-8, when the needle bar is at the lowest
point, align the line ② of the needle guard (rear) ① with
the bottom of the needle eye of the right needle ③.
