Calibration
Prepare "kilogram" check weights (more than OIML M1 class) corresponding to the capacity. It is not
possible to calibrate the SPC-Solar with either "pound" or "ounce" check weight. Be sure to calibrate the
scale under battery-powered mode.

Install batteries.
Set the user parameter No. 01 (power select) at 001
(battery-powered operation)
Press and hold the
key and press the
key to go
to user parameter mode.

Press and hold the
key and press the
key to go
to calibration mode

After confirming, the stable indicator
lights up, press
the
key.

Place a check weight corresponding to the scale
capacity.
SPC - Solar 2: 2,000 grams
SPC - Solar 5: 5,000 grams

When the stable indicator lights up, press
key.
If the display shows as right figures, calibration has been
completed successfully
If there is the following differences for the values in the
right figures, turn off the power and try to calibrate it
again
SPC - Solar 2: more than +/- 5 counts
SPC - Solar 5: more than +/- 10 counts
After calibration, turn off the power. Turn on the power
again and confirm that correct weight value is displayed
