2. Rotate the rear wheel several times and

check the drive chain to locate its tight-
est point.

a. Loosen the wheel axle nut

b. Loosen both locknuts

c. Turn both adjusting bolts

chain slack is obtained.

NOTE:

To maintain the proper wheel align-
ment, adjust both sides evenly.

d. Tighten both locknuts to specifica-

tion.

e. Tighten the wheel axle nut to specifi-

cation.
