27. Inspect:

• Gap

 between adjuster

Out of specification

 Retighten and

readjust the locknut.

NOTE:

If the adjuster is installed out of specification,
proper damping force cannot be obtained.

0.5 ~ 1.0 mm (0.02 ~ 0.04 in)

28. Tighten:

• Adjuster (locknut)

NOTE:

Hold the locknut
