5. Pull the recoil starter slowly until it is engaged,

then pull it briskly.

WARNING

Be careful to use the recoil starter. In rare cases,
the recoil starter handle can be drawn back quickly
by the engine kickback.

TIP
Grasp the carrying handle firmly to prevent the water
pump from falling over when pulling the recoil starter.

6. After the engine starts, warm up the engine until

the engine does not stop when the choke lever is
returned to the original position.

7. Set the throttle lever in desired position.

Increase engine speed

Decrease engine speed

Stopping the engine

1. Move the throttle lever fully to left.

2. Turn the engine switch to the “OFF” (OFF).
