5. Turn in the rear caliper adjusting bolt by

hand until it feels tight. Then turn it out
1/8 turn and tighten the locknut to the
specified torque.

CAUTION:

When tightening the locknut, hold the ad-
justing bolt with a wrench so that the ad-
justing bolt does not turn together with the
locknut.

6. Turn the parking brake cable adjusting

bolt so that there is no free play in the ca-
ble. Then tighten the parking brake cable
locknut.

1. Rear brake cable locknut
2. Parking brake cable locknut
3. Parking brake cable adjusting bolt
4. Rear brake cable adjusting bolt

7. Turn the rear brake cable adjusting bolt

so that there is no free play in the brake
lever. Then tighten the rear brake cable
locknut.

8. Turn the rear wheel to make sure there is

no brake drag.

Tightening torque:

Caliper adjusting bolt locknut:
