NOTICE

●

Make sure that snow or ice does not enter the
fuel tank when refueling.

●

The fuel tank should be filled with the recom-
mended gasoline as specified.

●

Handle the fuel tank cap carefully. If the fuel
sender attached to the fuel tank cap is bent, the
fuel meter may not indicate the correct fuel level.

●

Do not overtighten or loosen the fuel tank cap to
face the fuel meter toward the rider. Otherwise,
the fuel tank cap could be damaged or fuel could
leak.

TIP

A 50:1 gasoline/oil mixture is recommended when the
ambient temperature is below -25 °C (-13 °F).
For example:
10 L of gasoline per 0.2 L of oil (1 gal of gasoline per
2.6 oz of oil) equals a 50:1 mixing ratio.
