2. Install:

• Fuel hose
• Fuel pump coupler

NOTICE

When installing the fuel hose, make sure that
it is securely connected, and that the fuel
hose holder is in the correct position, other-
wise the fuel hose will not be properly in-
stalled.

TIP

• Connect the fuel hose securely onto the fuel in-

jector until a distinct “click” is heard.

• To install the fuel hose, slide the fuel hose con-

nector cover “1” on the end of the hose in direc-
tion of the arrow shown.

CHECKING THE FUEL PRESSURE

1. Check:

• Fuel pressure

a. Remove the under-seat panel.

Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS (1)” on
page 4-1.

b. Remove the drive belt.

Refer to “REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT
(YUM1A/YUM2A)” on page 3-8.

c. Disconnect the fuel hose “1” from the fuel

tank.
Refer to “REMOVING THE FUEL TANK”
on page 6-2.

d. Connect the pressure gauge “2” and

adapter “3” to the fuel rail and fuel hose.

e. Start the engine.
f. Measure the fuel pressure.
