MODES & FUNCTIONS

THE BEAT/CLOCK POSITION INDICATORS

The pattern beat/clock position indicators appear in the upper right area of
the LCD, where large inver ted triangles represent each beat in the
measure, and small inver ted triangles represent each clock where rhythm
data may exist. (The number of beat and clock position triangles in the
measure depends on the designated meter of the pattern.)

During playback, each beat position indicator flashes according to the
current beat location, with all beat positions flashing on the first beat of
the measure. Each clock position indicator flashes according to the current
clock location.

SELECTING A PATTERN

- Position the flashing cursor over the word “PTN”,

then press [+1] and [-1] to select a Preset (#000 ~ #199) or User (#200 ~
#249) pattern.  

■

STARTING AND STOPPING THE PATTERN PLAYBACK

- Press [PLAY] to star t

the pattern playback. Press [STOP] to stop the pattern playback. Pressing
[PLAY] again will continue the pattern playback from the stop position.

■

DESIGNATING THE TOP OF THE PATTERN

- When the playback is stopped,

press [TOP], [BWD] or [FWD] to designate the top of the measure. Then,
pressing [PLAY] will star t the pattern playback from the top.
