ELEC

Check the main fuse and ignition fuse.
Refer to “FUSE INSPECTION”
in CHAPTER 2.

FAULTY

Replace the main fuse and / or ignition fuse.

Check the battery.
Refer to “BATTERY INSPECTION”
in CHAPTER 2.

OUT OF SPECIFICATION

Replace and / or charge the battery.
Refer to “BATTERY CHARGING” in CHAPTER 2.

Check the stator coil and pickup coil.

OUT OF SPECIFICATION

Replace the stator coil assembly.

Check the spark plug gap.

OUT OF SPECIFICATION

Repair or replace the spark plug.

Check the ignition coil resistance.

OUT OF SPECIFICATION

Replace the ignition coil.

Check the engine stop switch, throttle
switch, carburetor switch and main switch.

FAULTY

Replace the handlebar switch (right),
carburetor switch, and / or main switch.

Check the main relay.

FAULTY

Replace the main relay.

Correct the connection and / or
replace the rectifier / regulator
and / or the CDI unit.

NO SPARK OR WEAK SPARK.
