PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIR

6. Pull out the axle.

7. Slide the wheel to the right and

pull it backwards to remove.

Rear wheel installation

1. Install the rear wheel and the axle.

2. Install the axle nut and let the ma-

chine down.

3. Insert the brake rod into the brake

cam lever and install the brake

free play adjusting nut.

4. Install the brake torque rod onto

the brake shoe plate and tighten

the bolt and axle nut to the speci-

fied tightening torque. Then install

a new cotter pin.

EW000124

Always use a new cotter pin.

Specified torque:

Brake torque rod bolt:

18 Nm (1.8 mákg)

Axle nut:

39 Nm (3.9 mákg)

5. Adjust the rear brake pedal free

play. (See page 6-13.)
