1. Remove:

• Side cover (right)

Refer to “COWLINGS” in CHAPTER 3.

2. Measure:

• Parking brake cable distance

Out of specification

Adjust.

Adjustment steps:

• Loosen the locknut

• Turn the adjuster

in or out until the speci-

fied distance

is obtained.

• Tighten the locknut.

• Brake pad clearance (
