[ ]/[ ] (power switch)
Turns the unit’s power (supplied from the AC IN
connector) on [ ]/off [
]. If power is supplied from
the AC IN connector and this power switch is also on,
the front panel POWER INT indicator is lit.
CAUTION
E v en w hen the po w er s w itch is t u rned off, a small amo u nt of
c u rrent is flo w ing thro u gh the u nit. When yo u are not u sing
the prod u ct for a long time, make s u re to u npl u g the po w er
cord from the AC o u tlet.
NOTE
Rapidly t u rning the u nit on and off in s u ccession can ca u se
it to malf u nction. After t u rning the u nit off, w ait for at least 6
seconds b efore t u rning it on again.

AC IN connector
Connect the supplied AC power cord here. First
connect the AC power cord to the RSio unit, then insert
the power cord plug into an AC power outlet.
The supplied AC power cord features a V-lock
mechanism via a latch, which prevents the power cord
from coming off accidentally.
Insert the cable plug all the way until it locks in securely.
CAUTION
Be s u re to t u rn the po w er off b efore connecting or
disconnecting the po w er cord.
Press the latch button on the plug to disconnect the
power cord.

EXT DC INPUT connector
This is an XLR-4-32 type connector through which an
external power supply (+24V) can be provided as a
backup for the internal power supply of the RSio64-D.
CAUTION
Before connecting the external po w er s u pply, yo u m u st t u rn
off the po w er of this u nit and the po w er of the external po w er
s u pply. Malf u nctions or electrical shock may occ u r if yo u fail
to o b ser v e this ca u tion.
NOTE
• This po w er s u pply cannot b e t u rned on/off b y the po w er
s w itch.
• If an external po w er s u pply is connected, the RSio64-D w ill
operate normally w hen the internal and external po w er
s u pplies are b oth on, as w ell as w hen only one of them is on.
• If b oth po w er s u pplies are on and one of the po w er s u pplies
fails d u ring operation, the u nit a u tomatically s w itches to the
other po w er s u pply. The state of the po w er s u pply is sho w n
b y the front panel POWER indicator.

Grounding screw
Since the included power cord has a three-conductor
plug, this unit is appropriately grounded if the AC
outlet is grounded. In some cases, you may be able to
reduce hum and interference by connecting ground to
this screw as well.

SLOT 1–4
Mini-YGDAI I/O cards can be installed in these slots.
Each of the four slots is equipped with an SRC.

SLOT ACTIVE indicator
Indicates whether the slots are powered.
CAUTION
Do not insert or remo v e a Mini-YGDAI card if this indicator is
lit. Malf u nctions or electrical shock may occ u r if yo u fail to
o b ser v e this ca u tion.
