ADJUSTING THE PARKING BRAKE

ADJUSTING THE PARKING BRAKE

1. Shift the drive select lever into low gear “L”.
2. Check:

• parking brake lever free play 

a

 

The maximum free play is equal to one click
of the parking brake lever. If necessary,
adjust the free play as follows.

NOTE:

The parking brake lever must be released
when checking and adjusting the parking
brake lever free play.

3. Remove:

• driver seat
• passenger seat
• console

Refer to “SEATS, ENCLOSURE, HOOD
AND CARGO BED” in chapter 8.

4. Adjust:

• parking brake lever free play

a. Pull back the adjuster cover.
b. Loosen the locknut

tion.
