Replacing the tail/brake light
bulb or a rear turn signal light
bulb

NOTICE

Have a Yamaha dealer replace the
bulb.

Place the vehicle on the centerstand.

Tail/brake light bulb

1. Remove the screws and pull the

tail cover out.

2. Remove the screws and pull the

tail/brake light lens out.

3. Remove the burnt out bulb by

pushing it in and turning it counter-
clockwise.

4. Insert a new bulb into its original

position, push it in, and then turn it
clockwise unit it stops.

5. Place the tail/brake light lens into

its original position, and then in-
stall the screws.

NOTICE:

Do not

overtighten the screw, other-
wise the lens may break.

Turn signal light bulb

1. Remove the tail/brake/turn signal

light lens. (See page 7-31 for de-
tails.)

2. Remove the burnt out bulb.

3. Insert a new bulb into its original

position.

4. Place the tail/brake/turn signal

light lens into its original position,
and then install the screws.
