Restricting access to functions (Lock function)

To enable/disable locks for specific
functions
Follow the procedure below to enable/disable locks for specific MusicCAST server
functions.

Select “Top Menu”
➞
“System Setup”
➞
“Lock function”.
The password entry screen appears.

and SELECT to enter the password, and then select
“OK” and press SELECT.
To cancel entering the password, select “Cancel” and press SELECT.
The menu selection screen appears.

to select the menu (System Setup, Edit function,
Recording, Others) and press SELECT.
The function selection screen appears.
The default password is “mcx-
1000”. Change the password as
needed (see page 6). Please
note that the password is case-
sensitive.
Reset the password to the default
setting (see page 8).
