Replacin g a hea d li g ht b ul b
This model is equipped with halogen
bulb headlights. If a headlight bulb
burns out, replace it as follows.

Take care not to d ama g e the follow-

Do not touch the g lass part of
the hea d li g ht b ul b to keep it free
from oil, otherwise the transpar-
ency of the
g lass, the luminosity
of the b ul b , an d the b ul b life will
b e a d versely affecte d . Thor-
ou g hly clean off any d irt an d fin-
g erprints on the hea d li g ht b ul b
usin g a cloth moistene d with al-
cohol or thinner.


Do not affix any type of tinte d
film or stickers to the hea d li g ht
lens.
Do not use a hea
d li g ht b ul b of a
watta g e hi g her than specifie d .
1. Remove the headlight bulb cover
by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Disconnect the headlight coupler.
3. Unhook the headlight bulb holder,
and then remove the burnt-out
bulb.
4. Place a new headlight bulb into
position, and then secure it with
the bulb holder.
5. Connect the headlight coupler.
6. Install the headlight bulb cover by
turning it clockwise.
TIP

When installing the headlight bulb
covers, be sure to position the
widest locking tab to the top.

Make sure that the O-ring is prop-
erly seated.
