2-18 PHANTOM power check
Connect a load resistor of 10 k Ω between the pin 1 and 2 of the INPUT A or MIC input connectors and shunt between the pin 2 and 3.
Turn on the PHANTOM switch (LED shall light up) and the voltage between the pin 1 and 2 should be between DC +33 V – +37 V.
3. Sound/Function Check
Activate each controller and inspect respective parts.
3-1 Volume/Fader Check
Operate all the VR and Fader controls and check that they are not mechanically caught or rubbed.
Check that the sound changes as the controls are operated.
Check also that there is no abnormal noise (sliding noise, etc.) or discontinuity of sound.
3-2 Push Switch Check
Activate and then deactivate all the switches and check that they are not mechanically caught or rubbed.
Operate all the switches except the POWER and PHANTOM switches and check that sound changes.
Check also that there is no abnormal noise (popping noise, etc.) in the output sound.
3-3 LED Meter Check
Input music signals and check that LED Meter works properly.
Check that brightness and operation of all the LEDs are normal.
4. Factory setting
4-1 Setting at the time of factory shipping
· EQ GAIN control : CENTER
· PAN, BAL control : CENTER
· Level controls other than the above ones : MIN
· All Faders : MIN
· All Switches : OFF
