Rigging information

Uncrate procedure

Check for any shipping damage.

Remove the top cover.

Remove all bolts from the bottom plate,
and remove the frame.

NOTICE:

careful not to cause any damage to
the outboard motor.

Remove the wrapping, and check the
outboard motor for concealed damage. If
any damage is found, use the concealed
crate damage claim procedure.

Remove the top cowling and the flywheel
magnet cover

Install a lifting harness

to the engine

hangers

Tension the lifting harness.

Remove the skeg holder

Carefully lift up the outboard motor
together with the bottom frame

NOTICE:

Do not allow the lifting

harness to damage any parts of the
outboard motor.

10. Remove the bolts
