When there is a history of protection function:

本機のFLディスプレイにプロテクション履歴情報とバー
ジョン（英1文字）が表示され、数秒後にダイアグメニュー

（No.1 DA70Y-YSS930のサブメニューMARGIN）になりま

す。

プロテクション履歴がない場合:

The FL display of the main unit displays the protection
function history data and the version (1 alphabet) then the
DIAG menu (sub-menu

MARGIN

of DIAG menu No.1

DA70Y-YSS930) a few seconds later.

When there is no history of protection function:

• Starting DIAG in the protection cancel

mode

If the protection function works and causes hindrance to
trouble shoot, cancel the protection function as described
below, and it will be possible to enter the DIAG mode. (The
protection functions other than the excess current detect
function will be disabled.)

Press the “MASTER ON/OFF” key while simultaneously
pressing those two keys indicated in the figure above. At
this time, keep pressing those two keys for 3 seconds or
longer.

In this mode, the “SLEEP” segment of the FL display of the
main unit flashes to indicate that the mode is DIAG mode
with the protection functions disabled.

● プロテクション解除モードでの起動

プロテクションが動作することにより、故障箇所の診断に
支障をきたすような場合は、次の方法によりプロテクショ
ンを解除した状態でダイアグモードに入ることができま
す。（過電流検出以外のプロテクション動作を解除する）

上図のキーを同時に押しながら MASTER ON/OFF キーを
押します。このとき、上図のキーを3秒以上押し続けてく
ださい。

このモードでは本機FLの SLEEP セグメントが点滅し、
プロテクションを解除した状態でのダイアグモードである
ことを知らせます。

注意！

プロテクションを解除した状態でのダイアグモードは、
危険な状態でもプロテクションが作動しないため、動作
させると、機器を破壊することがあります。このモード
を使用する場合は十分注意してください。

● ダイアグの解除

① ダイアグを解除する前に、ダイアグメニューNo.11の

FACTORY PRESET （メモリーの初期化禁止/またはメ
モリーの初期化）の設定をします。
※ ユーザーメモリーを保持したい場合は、必ず

PRESET INHIBIT（メモリー初期化禁止）を選択して
ください。

② 本機の MASTER ON/OFF キーかリモコンの STANDBY

キーを押し、パワーオフにします。

• Canceling DIAG

Before canceling DIAG, execute setting for PRESET of
DIAG menu No.11 (Memory initialization inhibited or
Memory initialized).
* In order to keep the user memory stored, be sure to
select PRESET INHIBIT (Memory initialization inhib-
ited).

Turn off the power by pressing the “MASTER ON/OFF”
key of the main unit or the “STANDBY” key of the re-
mote control.

CAUTION!

Using this product with the protection function disabled
may cause damage to itself. Use special care when us-
ing this mode.

• Starting DIAG

Press the “MASTER ON/OFF” key while simultaneously
pressing those two keys of the main unit as indicated in the
figure below.

● ダイアグの起動

本機の下図に示すキーを同時に押しながら MASTER ON/
OFF キーを押すと、ダイアグが起動します。

原因：

パワーアンプに過電流が流れた。

補足：

パワートランジスタの電流を検出していますので、
電流検出トランジスタをチェックすれば異常チャン
ネルが特定できます。

異常状態のままパワーオンすると、瞬時にプロテクション
がかかり、すぐに電源が切れます。

Cause:

An excessive current flowed through the power

amplifier.

Suppleementary information:

As current of the power

transistor is detected, the abnormal channel can be identi-
fied by checking the current detect transistor.

Turning on the power without correcting the abnormality
will cause the protection function to work immediately and
the power supply will instantly be shut off.

Note)

• Applying the power to the main unit without correct-

ing the abnormality can be dangerous and cause
additional circuit damage.

• The output transistors in each amplifier channel

should be checked for damage before applying
power of the main unit.

• Amplifier current should be monitored by measuring

across the emitter resistors for each channel.

注意！

・異常状態のまま本機の電源をいれると、危険な状態

になり、さらに回路が損傷を受ける原因になりま
す。

・本機の電源をいれる前に、各アンプのチャンネル内

の出力トランジスターに損傷がないかチェックして
ください。
