Basic Operations

Press [STANDBY / ON ] on the
front panel of the DCD1+PS to
turn it on.

place a CD on the CD tray. Then
gently push the tray to close the
CD drive.

The DCD1+PS automatically reads the CD.
When “01” appears in the display, the
DCD1+PS is ready to play back the CD.
Note:
You cannot operate the DCD1+PS
while “00” is displayed.

The PLAY/PAUSE indicator lights and
song No.1 starts playing.
For PianoSoft.PlusAudio and other
audio/MIDI CDs, your piano plays the
piano parts and the audio parts are output
from speakers or headphones.
While the CD is being played back, the two
right digits of the LED shows the song
number and the segments of the left digit
moves in a square to show that a song is
being played back.

Playing CDs
This chapter describes how to play CDs on the DCD1+PS. If you are using the DCD1+PS for the first
time, you can use the supplied sample PianoSoft.PlusAudio CD, which contains a sample song.
