4-3-4 Judgment
4-4 LED function test (04.LED)
4-4-1 Display
4-4-2 Test content
Check visually whether each switch LED lights up correctly.
The 2-color LED lights up in the order: green
→ red →
green & red.
4-4-3 Procedures
1) The LEDs light up in the order. Check visually that they
light up correctly.
2) When all the LEDs in the same color light up, check
visually that they light up correctly. Press the [ENTER]
key if they light up correctly.
If the test completes successfully:
When all the LEDs light up correctly, press the [ENTER]
key. The test menu screen reappears with “
{
” displayed to
the left of the test item, and the cursor advances to the next
test item.
If the test fails or if you wish to cancel the test:
Press the [CANCEL] key. The test menu screen reappears
with “×” displayed to the left of the test item.

4-5-2 Test content
Check the dot display of the LCD.
4-5-3 Procedures
1) All the dots on the LCD blink twice. Check visually
whether there is any scratch or chip on the dot.
2) All the dots on the LCD light up. Check visually that the
contrast control functions correctly.
If the test completes successfully:
If there is no scratch or chip on the dot and the contrast
control functions correctly, press the [ENTER] key. The test
menu screen reappears with “
{
” displayed to the left of the
test item, and the cursor advances to the next test item.
If the test fails or if you wish to cancel the test:
Press the [CANCEL] key. The test menu screen reappears
with “×” displayed to the left of the test item.

4-6 MIDI function test (06.MIDI)

4-6-2 Test content
Check the function of the MIDI interface.
4-6-3 Procedures
1) If the connection and operation are correct, the message
“MIDI CABLE RELEASE [ENTER]” appears on the
LCD.
If incorrect, the message “ERROR:MIDI [ENTER]”
appears on the LCD. Press the [ENTER] key to exit the
test.
2) Disconnect the MIDI cable and press the [ENTER] key.
3) The message “TEST OK [ENTER]” appears on the
LCD. Press the [ENTER] key to complete the test.
If the MIDI cable is still connected, the message
“ERROR:SHORT [ENTER]” appears on the LCD.
