• master cylinder holder

CHAS

HANDLEBAR

10 Nm (1.0 m•kg)

NOTE:

Install the master cylinder holder

with the mark

"UP" facing up.

6. Install:

• clutch lever holder

NOTE:

Align the slit in the clutch lever

holder with the

punch mark in the handlebar.

7. Install:

• left handlebar switch

NOTE:

Aligh the matching surface on the handlebar
switches with the punch mark

on the handle-

bar.

8. Install:

• clutch cable

9. Connect:

• clutch switch coupler

10. Adjust:

• clutch cable free play

Refer to “ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH
CABLE FREE PLAY” in Chapter 3.

11. Adjust:

• throttle cable free play

Refer to “ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE
CABLE FREE PLAY” in Chapter 3.

Clutch cable free play (at the end of
the clutch lever)

10 mm

Throttle cable free play (at the flange
of the throttle grip)

5 mm

NOTE:

Apply a thin coat of lithium soap base grease onto
the end of the clutch cable.
