Throttle Friction Adjustment
(for Tiller control model)

A friction device in the tiller handle pro-
vides resistance to movement of the
throttle grip. This is adjustable for opera-
tor preference. An adjusting screw/bolt is
located within the tiller handle.

To increase the resistance:
Turn the adjusting screw/bolt clockwise.
To decrease the resistance:
Turn the adjusting screw/bolt counter-
clockwise.

When constant speed is desired, tighten
the adjusting screw/bolt to maintain the
desired throttle setting.

Do not overtighten the friction adjusting
screw/bolt. If there is too much resis-
tance, it may be difficult to move the
throttle grip, which could result in an
accident.
