3rd Local Level Adjustment
Connect the RF millivoltmeter to TP8027 on the
RX-2 Unit.
Adjust T8038 on the RX-2 Unit for maximum
deflection on the RF millivoltmeter.
RF Transformer Adjustment
Connect the RF Signal Generator to the “ANT 1”
Jack, then set the output level to +30 dBµ at 14.200
MHz.
Set the SUB Band (VFO-B) frequency to 14.200
MHz in the CW mode.
Adjust T8023, T8029, T8030, T8031, and T8032 on
the RX-2 Unit in succession several times for
maximum deflection on the Sub S-meter.
RX-2 Unit Adjustment-1 (D/MP version)
1st Local Level Adjustment
Connect the RF millivoltmeter to TP8001 on the
RX-2 Unit.
Set the SUB band (VFO-B) frequency to 14.200
MHz.
Adjust VR8006 on the RX-2 Unit for 1.6 Vrms (±0.1
Vrms) on the RF millivoltmeter.
Set the SUB band (VFO-B) frequency to 51.200
MHz.
Adjust VR8007 on the RX-2 Unit for 0.6 Vrms (±0.1
Vrms) on the RF millivoltmeter.
2nd Local Level Adjustment
Connect the RF millivoltmeter to TP8004 on the
RX-2 Unit.
Adjust T8026 on the RX-2 Unit for maximum
deflection on the RF millivoltmeter.
