Turn the password function ON or OFF.
A 4-digit password may be set to prevent unauthorized operation of the trans-
ceiver without permission.
OFF
Disables the PASSWORD function.
ON
Enables the PASSWORD function.

Set Mode [40 PASSWD] cannot be set to “ON”, until the 4-digit password has been set in the
Set Mode [41 PSWDWT].

If the password is forgotten, the password cannot be deactivated without the all reset.
If performing the all reset, all the transceiver settings are initialized. Do not forget the
passwords.
