How to use each mode
Warning
●
The device offers a safety feature which enables flash emission only when the treatment window is in
proper contact with the skin.
●
The interval between each flash emission (or a row of emissions in roller mode) will differ according
to the intensity level.
●
If the temperature of the treatment window rises during the treatment, the interval between each
emission (or a row of emissions in roller mode) will increase get longer for the sake of safety.
In such a case, shut off the device and wait about ten minutes to retrieve normal interval.
●
After the power remains on for ten minutes, the device will automatically shut off after an extended
buzzer sound is emitted twice (auto-off feature).
To resume using the device, wait at least ten minutes. Failure to comply may cause a failure of the
device.

DO NOT use the device in a dark room.
Failure to comply may cause injury to your eyes.

DO NOT emit flashes directly to your eyes.
Failure to comply may cause an eye injury.
●
DO NOT touch the filter (glass plate) immediately after using the flash.
As the filter becomes very hot immediately after use, touching it with your finger
may cause it to become burned.

Failure to comply may cause an accident or skin problems or physical ailments to
occur.

How to use the roller mode

Insert the adapter plug into the
port on the device for the
adapter plug and insert the AC
adapter into a wall outlet.

Press the power/level button and
select the level.
・
There are three flash levels.
・
Start using the device from level 1 and
gradually raise the level one by one until it gets
to the level appropriate for yourself. Do not use
the device at a high level right from the outset
(see page 16).
・
When the meter indicator (7 bars) is full, a
beeping sound will be emitted to indicate that
preparations for flash emission are complete.

Hold down the power/level
button (approx. 3 seconds) to
turn on the device.
・
The meter indicator will blink in a blue color to
signal that the device is in a standby state
(which means that flash pulses cannot be
generated yet).
・
If the device is turned on, the internal fan will
begin to operate with a humming sound. This
is not a malfunction.
* Use by extending the grip of the device in a
straight line.
