Decommission and place into storage

Always decommission your unit correctly before placing it into
storage.
This ensures that the unit will not suffer any frost damage.
♦
Disconnect the unit from the power supply before removing the unit from
the on-site heating system and emptying it.
♦
Allow the unit to cool down before emptying it.
Remove the unit from the on-site heating system
♦
Remove the unit from the on-site heating system.
♦
Work in reverse order to the described filling process.
Empty the unit
♦
Open the KFE of the intake fittings.
♦
This will vent the unit and the water in the boiler will drain more easily.
♦
Connect a water hose to the drain ball cock.
♦
Place the water hose in the drain.
♦
Only then open the drain ball cock and drain all the water in the unit.
Transport and store the unit
♦
Store the unit in a dry place that is protected from frost and dust.

Disposal of the unit
♦
Only dispose of the unit via a specialist disposal company or return it to
the manufacturer.
♦
Never dispose of electrical equipment or the unit’s control system via
the household waste.
