Your safety
Please observe the following
safety notes. The manufacturer
is not liable for damages on the
basis of failure to observe these
notes.
The granite socket is not a children‘s toy
as children could crush their
fi
ngers or
feet.
Never leave the granite socket unattend-
ed in an upright position – if it tips over, it
could in
fl
ict serious injury.
Keep in mind that, depending on the
wind intensity and the diameter of the
shade, even this granite socket may be
too “light”.
Make sure that the shade is closed in the
event of incoming wind.
Proper use
The granite socket is, depending on the
con
fi
guration, suitable as a stand for sun
shades with a pole diameter of no more
than 60 mm.
The granite socket is only intended for
private use. It is not suitable for commer-
cial application.
Before you use the granite socket,
please

rst carefully read through the
safety notes. Only in this way, will you be
able to use the socket in a safe and reli-
able manner.
Be absolutely sure to observe the na-
tional regulations in force, which apply
in your country and which are also valid
in addition to the regulations speci
fi
ed in
these instructions.
Mounting the standpipe
You will need:
– the enclosed socket key
– the assistance of 1 person
1. Lift the granite socket and set it up-
right on one of its sides.
Have another person hold onto the
socket!
2.
Slip the small rubber washer

3.
Run the screw through the granite
socket from the underside (see Fig-
ure

).
4.
Push the large rubber washer

the top of the granite socket over the
threading of screw

).
5.
Screw tighten the threaded hole of the
standpipe

on the screw

.
6.
Carefully tip the granite socket back
onto the ground area.
Using the inserts
Use the inserts based on the size of your
sun shade pole.
1.
Place the required inserts in the
standpipe (see Figure
B
).
2.

Changing the location
Prerequisite: There is no sun shade in
the stand.

Remove the telescoping handle

Lift the socket slightly and pull it on the
wheels to the desired location (see
Figure

).
3.
Set down the socket and push the tel-
escoping handle
