USING THE BUILT-IN THERMOSTAT
The built-in thermostat dial, (#3 in the diagram) can be used to maintain comfort, or to
prevent freezing. To maintain comfort, turn the dial as far as it will go in a clockwise
direction. Run the heater until the interior space is at a comfortable level, and then turn
the dial slowly counter-clockwise until the heater turns off. The heater should now cycle
on and off automatically to keep the ambient temperature at your desired level.
The lowest setting on the thermostat is designed for freeze prevention. When set to the
lowest setting, the heater will work to maintain 45-50 degrees in the space being
heated. It is highly recommended that the 750 watt setting be used for freeze
prevention. The heaters ability to maintain above freezing temperatures will depend on
many factors including the volume of space to be heated, insulation properties of the
space, drafts and air leaks that let heat escape and reliability of the power supply to the
heater
CLEANING YOUR FAN HEATER
1. Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply before cleaning.
2. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with damp (not dripping) cloth or sponge.
3. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents to clean the heater. Do not let cleaning
agents or water drip into intake or exhaust vents.

Before returning your heater for service, please check the following:
Is your household socket working properly? Try another appliance in the socket.
Is the heater turned on? Turn the thermostat dial clockwise until it stops.
Ensure that the plug is firmly in the socket and the circuit breaker for the outlet is
in the on position
Ensure the heater is on an even surface.
Useless electrical appliances should not be thrown away with your garbage. You should
take all useless electrical appliances to your local recycle center for safe disposal.
