BATTERY INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT
Batteries are not included in the product. New, fully charged batteries shall be inserted before the
first start (3x AAA - 1.5 V). Do not insert damaged or non-matching batteries into the device.
A) There is a plastic battery cover on the back side of the product. Open and remove the
cover carefully.
B) If the device has already been used and there are dead batteries in it, remove them first.
Otherwise, insert two pieces of suitable type of batteries following the marked polarity.
C) Place and snap the plastic battery cover back into its original place.
TIP!
•
Replace the batteries with new ones whenever you notice a flashing battery symbol on
the display, a decreased performance, a fading, poorly visible beam, or if the device can
no longer be switched on with the main switch.
The product is already fully assembled at the factory and ready for use after inserting the suitable
type of batteries. Remove the laser device from the fabric box.
SWITCH ON/OFF
The
switch on/measuring button
(1) serves switch on the device.
A) Briefly press the button (1) and the device will start in default mode - i.e., ready to
measure in metric units, with the reference point at the foot of the device.
B) The beam reference point, battery status, and empty measured distance symbols will
appear on the display.
C) Long press the button (7) to turn off the device
TIP!
•
The laser beam will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity. The device itself
will then automatically turn off after
3 minutes
of inactivity.
