The wet - dry grinding machine is equipped with a dry grinding wheel and
wet grinding wheel. Please note that rough grinding is always done with a dry grinding wheel. Make a
fine cut with a wet grinding wheel, applying light pressure is sufficient. The wet-dry grinder has been
developed for machining and sharpening knives, scissors, chisels and for tools with blades.
Please note that our devices have not been designed for commercial and industrial use.
We do not provide a guarantee if the device is used in craft, industrial and similar activities.
The S2 switch-on time of 30 min (short-term operation) indicates that the motor may only be loaded for
a long time with the rated power (250 W) for the time specified on the nameplate (30 min). Otherwise, it
could become unacceptably hot.
During the break, the engine cools down to its initial temperature again.
Mount the spark arrestor (3) to the protective cover (4) with the screws (10), see illustration
• Adjust the spark arrestor (3) with the calibration screw (11) so that the distance between the dry
grinding wheel (5) and the spark arrestor (3) is as small as possible and never more than 2 mm.
• Periodically adjust the spark arrestor (3) to compensate for disc wear.
Install the workpiece support (7) using the workpiece support fixing screw (6),
washers (12), toothed washers (13) and workpiece support locking knob (14) to workpiece support
bracket (15), see Figure 6.
• The machine must stand securely, ie. be screwed to the work table, etc.
• All covers and safety devices must be properly installed before commissioning.
• The grinding wheels must rotate freely.
• Before connecting the machine, make sure that the data on the type plate corresponds to the network
data.
Connect the RCD plug (16) to the mains. Press the Reset button (17). The pilot light (18) lights up.
Check the function of the RCD plug by pressing the Test button (19). If the function is perfect, the
indicator light (18) goes out and the mains contact is broken. The RCD plug is activated at a fault current
of 30 mA. If the RCD plug is defective, it must be replaced by an electrician.
To restart the machine, press the reset button (17) again.
MAINTENANCE
• Attention! Unplug the mains plug.
• Regularly remove dust and dirt from the machine. Cleaning is best done with a soft brush or cloth.
• Do not use corrosive agents to clean the plastic.
