PKCH1 MODULE PROGRAMMING MODE
You will need 2 valid keys. Proceed as follows:
1-
Insert first key and turn to the
IGN “ON”
position: “THEFT” light will turn ON, then go
“OFF”
.
Remove the first key.
2-
Within 5 seconds, insert second key: turn and hold in
IGN “ON”
position. After approx.
10 seconds, the door chime will sound**
once
to indicate vehicle is in programming mode.
3-
Turn the ignition OFF
YOU NOW HAVE 60 SECONDS TO PROCEED WITH THE NEXT STEP.
4-
For the next 2 steps position & hold the PKCH1 module (screw side) towards the front
of the ignition barrel (key cylinder).
(Coil Loop is NOT USED during PK programming)
5-
Using a jumper wire, power up vehicle ignition, without starting vehicle, for approx. 10 secs.
until the “THEFT” light comes
“ON”
solid. “THEFT” light will then flash and return back to
solid to indicate the PKCH1 module is now programmed successfully.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Once the PK (Transponder Bypass) portion has been programmed to a vehicle, it cannot be used on
any other Chrysler vehicle. (This a Chrysler Sentry Key feature from factory.)
**As a reference:
door should be left open during programming

- No wiring harnesses should be connected while programming Transponder Bypass.
- Do not install bypass module on a metal surface.
- Some cars won't chime when they get into programming but “THEFT” light will flash.
