Safety precautions
•
Make sure that the trestles are placed on a stable, level, and immovable surface. Pallets, boxes,
bricks, and similar objects may not be used as a surface.
•
Make sure that each trestle is secured and that all screw connections are properly fastened.
•
Before each use, check all components for damage or other faults that prevent safe use of the
trestle. If components are damaged, the trestle must not be used.
•
The two trestles are to be set up parallel to each other.
•
The distance between the trestles should not exceed 2
m. If an object longer than 4
m is to be
laid on the trestles, 3 trestles should be used.
•
The maximum load must not be exceeded.
•
Make sure that loads are distributed as evenly as possible.
•
Make sure that objects to be supported protrude at least 20
cm above the support beam. The
objects must be securely fastened so that they cannot tip over, fall, lift or shift. Also, make sure
that the objects do not bend too much.
•
In strong winds, the objects must be removed from the trestles or the trestles must be completely
disassembled.
•
Danger!
Always keep your balance while working on the trestle.
