Cleaning
For cleaning X106™ Evolution 3D glasses, which are sealed and therefore
water resistant, XPANDVISION™ offers an elegant, efficient yet powerful
solution with exceptional cleaning results – the
ELAVO™ Complete
Sanitization and Distribution System.
ELAVO™ system is a portable and
environmentally friendly solution for cleaning, distributing and storing
X106™ Evolution glasses, making it less expensive, quicker and easier on
the theatre staff to manage. The glasses are placed in custom racks, which
are inserted into the ELAVO™ machine, which then cleans, disinfects and
dries the glasses, making them ready for their next users.
Alternatively, cleaning and sanitizing wipes from XPANDVISION™ can be
used to manually clean the glasses.
Handling Instructions
Storage
It is recommended that the glasses be stored away from any IR sources such
as fluorescent lights. It is sufficient to cover the glasses so that any IR signal
does not accidentally trigger the glasses to turn ON.
Storage temperature should be standard office temperatures as higher or
lower temperatures reduce battery life.
In cinema, the optimal storage solution is either the ELAVO™ Cart and
ELAVO Rack, if using the ELAVO™ Sanitization System or the XPANDVISION™
Trolley. Both of these solutions were designed to provide the cinemas with
optimal solution for storage, handling, distribution, service and collection of
XPANDVISION™ Cinema 3D Glasses.
Handling
The glasses feature flexible ear handles and durable frame, both designed
to protect the electronics and lenses. However, the lenses are susceptible to
cracking if the glasses are twisted or bent excessively.
Do not twist or bend the glasses more than required to place
them comfortably on the head! Broken lenses are not covered by
warranty.
